
Submitting your reel or short film to the Zoom In Awards is easy:
Download the entry form and print. You MUST complete the entire form.
Be sure to select only one category per form. Multiple entries are permitted on separate forms with separate fees.
Be sure to include proper payment with each form submitted.
Most reels and shorts are less than 10 minutes in length. If you r entry is longer, it will be judged on the first 10 minutes viewed. It is perfectly acceptable to submit clips or excerpts shorter than 10 minutes in length.
If you do not have a reel or would prefer to submit a single project, please note that it too will be judged on its first 10 minutes.
Be sure to select a category in which you wish to be judged: cinematography, editing or graphics/fx.
We only accept work in DVD format, because the focus of The Zoom In Awards is digital production. If your work was produced digitally, but exists only in VHS format, you must author your piece to DVD for submission. By submitting your reel to The Zoom In Awards, you grant Magnet Media permission and rights to publish select segments and screenshots from your work as featured content on our Zoom In DVD, to The Zoom In Awards website and in promotional collateral (appropriate credit will be given). Upon submission of the entry, the Contestant grants Softimage Co. and Avid Technology, Inc. a worldwide, royalty free, non-transferable, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and display the entry.

Your submission to The Zoom In Awards will be considered only after payment has cleared. No submission will be considered without proper entry fee. Magnet Media is not responsible for lost, incomplete, or damaged submissions or the condition of your materials once submitted, nor are we responsible for the return of your materials unless a self-addressed, stamped envelope with appropriate postage is included at the time of submission.
You will be notified by email within 30 days of receipt of completed submission. Due to the high volume of submissions, Magnet Media will not accept inquiries about the status of your submission. |
