Jeffery Morse (Final Cut Pro 6)
Jeffery Morse is an award-winning producer, editor, trainer and photographer. Apple Certified in Final Cut Studio and Aperture, Jeffery specializes in post-production workflows and training for video and digital photography.
Jeffery is the founder of deepfield.net, a multimedia production company that designs, produces and implements a variety of media from Flash-based websites to videos and interactive DVDs At deepfield.net the work philosophy is taken from Thoreau: "Simplification of means and elevation of ends is the goal." On the training side, Jeffery has worked with companies like CNN, Sony, Universal Studios, BMW, Bunim-Murray Productions, Weynand Training and Apple Inc. For Apple he is a Master Trainer for both Aperture and Final Cut Studio. As a speaker, Jeffery has been featured at Macworld, DVExpo, WPPI, BEA, and the Jackson Hole Film Festival.
Alexis Van Hurkman (Color)
Alexis Van Hurkman is a writer, director, and
colorist based in New York. As a colorist, Alexis works
on a wide variety of narrative and documentary programming.
In 2006 Alexis' own feature "Four Weeks, Four
Hours" screened internationally at the Breckenridge,
Salento Italy, Portland Longbaugh, Toronto ReelHeART,
and FAIF film festivals. Alexis has written extensively
about postproduction with a column on Color in "Edit
Well," and books including the "Encyclopedia
of Color Correction" and "Advanced Color
Correction and Effects in Final Cut Pro." Working
for Apple computer, Alexis also wrote the user manuals
for Color 1.0, Shake 3.5 and 4, and Final Cut Pro 2,
3, and 4.
Jem Schofield (Motion 3, Soundtrack Pro 2)
Jem Schofield is a producer, creative director
and author who consults on and teaches production and
post-production solutions throughout the United States.
His company, Buttons Productions, produces commercial
video, print, motion graphics and DVD projects. Jem
is an Apple Certified Master Trainer and co-author
of the Apple Pro Training Series: Motion Graphics and
Effects in Final Cut Studio 2 and the QuickTime Pro
Quick-Reference Guide.
