lesson highlights
Final Cut Pro 6: Open Source Timeline
The new open format Timeline in Final Cut Pro 6 lets you mix and match source material in a wide range of formats and even different frame rates. Freely edit a combination of HD and SD, including NTSC and PAL, all in real time.
Motion 3: 3D Graphics
Use multiple viewpoints to adjust motion paths, layers, and more in 3D space, then step your work up a notch by importing elements such as particles, Replicator patterns, and text behaviors.
Color: Color Grading and Correction
Explore design possibilities directly in your page layout. Apply a variety of Photoshop effects to objects on a page, and experiment with blending modes, opacity, and other options. Quickly and easily edit these nondestructive effects without permanently altering the object. Effects can then be saved as part of an object style for easy reuse or sharing.
Soundtrack Pro 2: Streamlined Multitrack Interface
The streamlined interface of Soundtrack Pro 2 allows editors to work efficiently with pre-existing tools while simultaneously enabling audio professionals to tackle complex projects ad providing powerful integration with Final Cut Studio as well as seamless integration with other applications.
