“
The actual training contained on each DVD is outstanding.
I have dual monitors so it was great to have the training
video on one screen while I worked with the software at
the same time on my other screen. Thanks to the easy setup
and navigation of each lesson I was able to revisit and
watch the instructions over and over. Each lesson was very
comprehensive. I wish I had this training bundle years ago.
It would have saved me many hours on projects where I had
to painstakingly recreate an effect.”

Evan Schechtman
While a film student at the School of Visual Arts,
Evan Schechtman had an unfortunate incident with
a Moviola. The bloodletting, coupled with the frustration
at the restraints of modern technology, led him
to think about the future of post production.
In the years that followed,
Evan became an expert in desktop technology and
in 1998, founded Outpost Digital, which fast became
known for its innovative use of next generation
media technologies. In 2000, Outpost was acquired
by bicoastal/international @radical.media and Evan
became radical’s Chief Technology Officer,
while still heading up Outpost Digital’s New
York office, as well as their new facility in Santa
Monica. Over the years,
Evan has built a core group of people who share
his creative vision, as well as his passion for
technology.
Outpost has done extensive work in broadcast, film
and commercials, working with such networks as ABC,
CBS, MTV, VH1, ESPN, and the Food Network, agencies
like Ogilvy & Mather, BBH, and Weiden+Kennedy,
as well as Steven Soderberg, Gus van Sant and Danny
deVito.
Outpost is constantly evolving
with the each new technological stride and has committed
itself to being at the forefront of cutting-edge
technologies and superlative post-production service.
