About Chad Sipkin:
Chad Sipkin founded Consulate, a film editing company located in NYC. Chad has worked with a variety of artists, directors, and photographers over the years on music videos, commercials, and narrative film projects. He has worked with the likes of The Kinks Ray Davies, photographer Matt Mahurin, Tarsem, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Webber, and Sofia Coppola to name a few.
In 2002 he completed the ABC documentary “Report from Ground Zero”, a poetic and visceral story weaving the lives and aspirations of the NYFD in and around the disaster of 9/11. In Summer 2003, he collaborated with Bruce Weber on his latest film, “A Letter to True,” a lyrical story about the human spirit, a tribute to animals and the beauty they bring to life. The film includes narration by Marianne Faithful and Julie Christie with special appearances by Dirk Bogarde and a young Elizabeth Taylor.
Recent advertising assignments include top fashion houses Dior, Versace and Gucci, commercials for Coca Cola, Bacardi, AT&T as well as a music video for The White Stripes, featuring Kate Moss, directed by Sofia Coppola.
