Based on the title graphics created for an upcoming reality television show on USA Networks, Seth Gordon demonstrates how he created a three dimensional lower-third motion graphic for the show. In this 30 minute tutorial Seth starts by creating 2-D graphical elements in Adobe Illustrator, animating these in Adobe After Effects, adding 3-D qualities in Maxon Cinema4D, and finishing up the 3-D composition back in After Effects. This tutorial is great for the motion graphics artist who has yet to venture into 3-D animation world.

1. Creating Star Stripes in Illustrator

2. Animating Star Stripes in After Effects

3. Introduction to Cinema 4D

4. Building 3D Lower Third in Cinema 4D
